Kilauea volcano on Hawaii Island started erupting on Dec. 23, 2024, and since then there have been 34 episodes with spectacular lava fountains, many of which have reached 1,000 feet high. Spectators have flocked to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to get a glimpse of the fiery magic, while even more people have watched the eruption online through webcams managed by the U.S. Geological Survey’s Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. ~Hawaii News 6/18/2025
